So off I went to art class laden down with materials in a large Lidl bag. I collected a friend on the way who was also laden down with art materials in a large Lidl bag! Seems it's the trend of wanabee artists!
The art class consisted of about 10 ladies of varying ages, and abilities. Each with their own interests and preferences. We got settled down and silence fell over us, not an uncomfortable kind of silence but the kind you only hear when the kids are making an air fix model!
It did become a wee bit noisier as the evening went on but on the whole we were a pretty focused bunch.
Now, in all my organising of what I was going to take with me i forgot to take a picture for reference!
Fortunately Marj Tait, the tutor had a few I could choose from. I went for an eagle that looks very similar to the eagle tattoo my husband has on his shoulder. An eagle isn't a bird I am normally drawn to. I'm more a blue tit or Robin person but I settled down with my pastels and gave it a go.
I don't know where that two hours went to but before I knew it, it was time to pack up and head along the now dark road to back home.
My work in progress will hopefully get finished this week.
